Bio

She has been an Invited Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University since 2023. She holds a PhD and completed her postdoctoral studies in Educational Sciences at the University of Lisbon. Her academic and research work focuses on psychological health and well-being, as well as the positive development of children and adolescents.

She is an integrated researcher at the Católica Research Centre for Psychological, Family and Social Wellbeing (CRC-W) and a member of the international Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC/WHO) network of the World Health Organization, where she has served as Co-Chair of the Youth Engagement group since 2017.

She has authored several scientific publications in her areas of expertise. She is a Specialist in Clinical and Community Psychology accredited by the Portuguese Psychologists’ Association, with training in cognitive-behavioural approaches and ongoing clinical practice.
