To get acquainted with and reflect upon the main theories and authors of social and emotional development psychology; To describe the main socio-emotional development tasks in childhood and adolescence; To understand the influence of certain factors in the development of social and emotional competences in childhood and adolescence; To reflect upon ways of promoting social development in the context of the family, the school or in the community.
