Summary: The overall objective of this project is to recruit and follow a cohort of adult individuals diagnosed with NF1, studying them uniformly from a neurocognitive perspective. The specific aims are: a) to obtain detailed neurocognitive markers of the disease, b) to identify reliable indicators of cognitive dysfunction progression that can be used as relevant outcome measures in clinical intervention studies, allowing comparability with other samples from other reference centers, and c) to provide objective data that supports the clinical relevance of studying cognition in NF1, highlighting the need for neurocognitive evaluation in this pathology, thereby improving the care and follow-up provided to these patients.
