This curricular unit aims to reflect on the conditions enabling the emergence and development of the field of Clinical Psychology; to foster the knowledge of fundamental models to Clinical Psychology; to provide an insight into the theories, methods of evaluation and forms of intervention in several psychological disorders; and, to understand the specificities of Clinical Psychology through the different stages of the human life cycle.
