Generic Bio

Sandra Oliveira holds a Phd in Clinical Psychology (ISCTE-IUL), she has been working in this field and within the domain of psychosocial rehabilitation. Effective member of the Portuguese Association of Psychologists, specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology and, Community Psychology. Her research interests include the study of clinical and psychosocial determinants that influence the experience of stigmatization by people with mental illness. Other research interests include the psychometric assessment and validation of measures for specific population-groups, as well as, articulating knowledge from research and the development of community-based interventions aimed at promoting well-being and quality of life.
