Psychological Evaluation I

5 ECTS / Semester / Portuguese
This subject approaches the theoretical and practical aspects related to the specific skills of the psychologist in the performance of their evaluative activities. The objective are: To provide theoretical and conceptual tools that enable a meaningful understanding of the relationships between normal and pathological human development; To provide and facilitate contact with technical evaluations of personalities, cognitive functions of information processing, executive functions and quality of life in the sense of exploration and analysis of the behaviour through a systemic process of decision-making ; To gasp the Psychological Assessment techniques and procedures, the main models for current psychological interventions, particularly for the collection of clinical information for drafting clinical histories, the dynamic formulation of the cases, treatment planning and the identification of the different phases and procedures of Psychological Assessment processes.
