PhD in Psychology (2015), specialization in Educational Psychology, by University of Lisbon and University of Coimbra. Master's degree in Psychology - Stress and Wellness (2008), postgraduate in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy (2004) and graduate in Psychology - Psychotherapy and Counseling (1996) by the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Lisbon.
Clinical practice with adolescents, adults and couples since 1996. Has taught as an invited teacher in the university since 2004 and has developed training in different areas of Psychology. Was a promoter and project coordinator in the area of community intervention with children / youths and families between 1997 and 2011, being recognized as a Specialist in Community Psychology by the Portuguese Psychologists Association.
Currently teaches in the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University. She is a researcher at the Catholic Research Center for Psychological, Family and Social Wellbeing of the Portuguese Catholic University. Her areas of research and publication are couple relationships, well-being and factors that promote satisfaction and balance in couples.
