Promoting health and quality of life in adulthood

To discuss mechanisms and meanings of positive life-span development and success in adulthood and old age. To understand, recognize and analyse different common issues at each stage of the adult life cycle (young adult, adult and elder) as well as grasping the risk and protective factors associated. To investigate and analyse strategies to promote the well-being of adult individuals and/or to prevent the analysed problems. To develop intervention skills for promoting active ageing.
