Executive Director, The Lisbon Consortium. PhD in Political Science, University of Connecticut. Between 2014 and 2019 he was nominated to the Executive Board of the Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD). In terms of internationalisation, he created and directed the UMass in Lisbon program at ISCTE and the Study in Portugal Network (SiPN) consortium for FLAD. For 21 years he was a professor at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth where he served for 9 years as Chair of the Political Science Department and 3 terms as the elected President of its Faculty Senate.
