Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Developmental Psychology (FCT fellowship) from ISPA – Instituto Universitário, currently conducting research at the William James Center for Research (WJCR). Holds a strong academic background in Clinical Psychology (Bachelor’s degree) and Clinical and Psychopathological Psychology (Master’s degree). Her main research interests focus on the implications of social isolation, behavioral inhibition, social anxiety, depression, and loneliness for socioemotional adjustment difficulties, as well as maladaptive developmental trajectories. She is also interested in advanced statistical methods and techniques. Regularly publishes in international peer-reviewed journals with a relevant impact factor.
