Psychological Assessment in Clinical and Health Psychology

  • Goal 1: to know and understand the specificities of psychological assessment in clinical and health settings.
  • Goal 2: to undertake psychological assessments based on specific theoretical models (e.g., biopsychosocial approach; developmental approach).
  • Goal 3: to identify advantages and disadvantages associated with the use of different subjective and objective psychological assessment methods.
  • Goal 4: to plan the psychological assessment process considering specific contexts and objectives, by selecting appropriate psychological assessment methods.
  • Goal 5: to analyze, interpret, and integrate the results of psychological assessments and use them for clinical decision-making.
  • Goal 6: to respect ethical guidelines in psychological assessment processes.
