PhD in Philosophy at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Oporto, M.A. in Political Science and International Relations, Postgraduate in Civics and B.A in Philosophy at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. As Assistant Professor of the Philosophy of the School of Human Sciences, he is also Coordinator of the Scientific Area of Philosophy at the FCH, Co‑Coordinator of the Undergraduate Programme in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE), and Pedagogical Coordinator of the Postgraduate Programme in Philosophy for Children and Young People. His main areas of academic interest include Social and Political Philosophy, Ethics, Citizenship, and Portuguese philosophical thought—fields in which he has taught, conducted research, and published extensively. He is the author or co‑author of more than a dozen books and over three dozen articles published in national and international peer‑reviewed journals, in addition to several dozen papers presented at national and international academic conferences.
