At the end of the course, students should have acquired knowledge of concepts, theories and problems within the field of social and political ethics. For that, they must be able to:
- identify, describe and critically examine concepts, theories and problems within the field of social and political ethics;
- argue, from a grounded and sustained point of view, the specific theories and issues of social and political ethics;
- acknowledge moral values and principles of justice that preside over the political organization of different societies;
- explain the reason why democratic public policies must be supported on ethical principles;
- form a sustained opinion about contemporary questions in the field of social and political ethics.
