Grauben Navas holds a Licentiate Degree in Modern Languages and a Master's Degree in Comparative Literature from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. She completed her PhD in Didática das Línguas – Multilinguismo e Educação para a Cidadania Global at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and Universidade Aberta in 2026.
She is an Invited Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and a researcher at the Research Centre for Communication and Culture (CECC). She collaborates as a researcher with the Laboratory of Distance Education and eLearning (LE@D) at Universidade Aberta.
Previously, she taught German Language, Comparative Literature, German as a Foreign Language, and Spanish as a Second Language at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, and was an instructor at the Goethe-Institut in Caracas. Her research focuses on Spanish as a Foreign Language, language education, and the integration of technologies in language learning.
