Alexandra Lopes

Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences (since 2016). PhD in Translation Studies awarded by the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She is currently Assssociate Professor at FCH-UCP. Between 2008 and 2012, she was FCH Professor Secretary and, from 2001 to 2008, Coordinator of the Translation and Applied Foreign Languages programs. She is a researcher at CECC – the Centre of Communication and Cultural Studies where she is a member of two research lines: Culture and Conflict and Translating Europe. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Comunicação e Cultura Journal.
