On May 25, at 6:30 p.m., in Room 511 (CLSBE Building), there will be a lecture entitled “Institutional Decision-Making: Ethics, Risk, and Public Accountability”, featuring Adam Weinberg, director of the Whitney Museum of American Art; artist Hank Willis Thomas; and Philippe Vergne, director of the Serralves Museum.
This session is part of the seminar “Art and Diplomacy: Setting the Framework” and will be moderated by Randi Charno Levine, former U.S. Ambassador to Portugal and Honorary Professor of Art and Diplomacy at UCP.
The discussion will focus on how museums and cultural institutions address issues of ethics, funding, governance, public trust, and social responsibility in their decision-making.
