On May 29, at 6:30pm, in Auditorium 3, the Faculty of Human Sciences will hold the second edition of the great meeting between former students: the Alumni Day FCH.
This event begins with a panel consisting of four former students, each of whom will share their journey after graduating from the FCH. This panel will be followed by the Alumni Talk ‘The future of book publishing in the age of Artificial Intelligence’ by Ana Afonso, on how AI is paving the way for a revolution in the way books are created, distributed and consumed. A networking dinner will follow the event.

Ana Afonso (LPLEA ’96 + PG Edição ’10)
Ana Afonso graduated in Portuguese Language and Applied Foreign Languages from the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University, where she also attended the Postgraduate Programme in Publishing - Books and New Digital Media. She is currently Director of Production and Editorial Services at Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial Portugal.

Ariana Reynaud Ribeiro (LEA ’05)
Graduated in Applied Foreign Languages in 2005 by FCH-Católica, with one year spent on Erasmus in Germany. Still in 2005, she began an internship at Volkswagen Autoeuropa, where she continues to work today. For the last 6 years she has been working as a Global Mobility Specialist in Human Resources, where her passion for dealing with people and exploring the world prevails.
Carmo Só (CSC ’02)
With a degree in Communication and Cultural Sciences from FCH-Católica, she began her career as a journalist at Agência Lusa, worked at Media Capital and later at communications agencies such as Lift Consulting. She is a communication and media enthusiast who loves telling brand stories. She is currently Head of Corporate Communications at Lidl in Portugal, after being Head of Internal Communications at Leroy Merlin for more than 6 years.
Inês Gomes (PSIC ’21 + PG Psicologia do Sono ’24)
Clinical Psychologist, with a degree in Psychology (FCH-Católica, 2021), a Master's Degree in Research and Clinical Psychology (Maastricht, 2023) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Sleep Psychology (FCH-Católica, 2024), she is currently dedicated to helping others improve their relationship with sleep and to sleep better.
Rodrigo Faria (SS ‘ 19)
With a degree in Social Work from the FCH-Católica, he has been a Community Development Technician at the Aga Khan Foundation since 2020, with a career focused on youth and cultural participation in peripheral social neighborhood contexts.
