This course aims to develop a critical understanding of social sustainability and organisational responsibility through an ethical, global and interdisciplinary lens. It equips students to analyse how public, private and social economy organisations integrate principles of sustainability, human rights, social justice and intergenerational responsibility.
By the end of the course, students should be able to:
1. Explain key concepts in social sustainability, global ethics and organisational responsibility;
2. Analyse international frameworks (SDGs, ESG, Human Rights);
3. Critically interpret ethical dilemmas related to social and environmental responsibility;
4. Evaluate organisational responses to contemporary social and environmental challenges;
