PhD in Social Sciences, specializing in Social Policy, from the University of Lisbon. His work has focused on the social protection policy field, essentially carrying out studies and analyses and designing, modernizing, monitoring and evaluating measures and programs in senior technical, coordination and management positions in the public sector and, consequently, as a member of different national and international committees and representative bodies, particularly in the field of OECD and EU social policy. He is currently director of services for social security schemes. Researcher at the CRC-W (Catolica Research Centre for Psychological, Family and Social Wellbeing). Her main research areas are development and social cohesion, adaptation and modernization of social protection; domains, organizational aspects, analysis and evaluation of social policy; management of social policies; social economy; and sustainable development.
He has authored and co-authored articles and other publications in the sustainability and social policy field.
