The XV Lisbon Summer School for the Study of Culture is taking place this year between 30 June and 5 July, on the UCP campus and at MUDE - Museu do Design, and is dedicated to the study of the notion of excess in contemporary culture.

The Summer School is organized into three types of sessions: keynote lectures by invited speakers and faculty members; master classes with invited specialists; and paper presentations where doctoral students and early career researchers can discuss their ongoing work with faculty and invited speakers. The program also includes a poster exhibition by Master’s students and a cultural program with artist talks and activities.

This event is the annual meeting of the Lisbon Consortium’s Master’s and Doctoral Programs in Culture Studies. It takes place at several cultural institutions in Lisbon and brings together leading scholars in the field of culture and doctoral students and young researchers from all around the world.
