The exhibition “Equidade” opens today and will be on display until 20 September, at Library João Paulo II, at the Lisbon campus of Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
This initiative, hosted and supported by the team at the Library and curated by CECC researcher Carlos Barros, will function in a hybrid format that will enable visitors to view the pieces on display and interact in the construction of realities dedicated to the promotion of equity, through the values of Human Rights (HR) and Integral Human Development (IHD).
The exhibition includes digital activities that promote the deconstruction of prejudices and the construction of day to day HR values; a visit to 12 photographic works on young people’s perception of HR; testimonials/ reflections by the team at CADOS-Católica post-doctoral programme on Integral Human Development; and the ability to access (via a computer provided or visitors’ own equipment) videos, literature or links to entities working towards the common good. The organizers hope to provide an enjoyable visit that will promote a pleasant moment in which to joyfully (re)think the world.
