On May 15, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, the Faculty of Human Sciences will host the event “Cybersecurity and Journalism: Safeguarding the Voice of Democracy”, taking place in Auditorium 131.

In an increasingly digital world, cybersecurity has become a critical issue for protecting press freedom and the integrity of democratic systems. This event offers an interdisciplinary discussion on the main threats and challenges faced by media professionals, as well as the role of public and private institutions in defending trustworthy information.

The panel of speakers includes:

• Mariana Maia Rafeiro – Government Affairs Director, Microsoft
