"The PhD Programme in Integral Ecology offers the valuable opportunity to foster an urgent and much-needed dialogue across disciplines, while contributing to the scientific development of the paradigm proposed in the encyclical Laudato Si’. For me, it has been an inspiring journey, allowing me to continue exploring the intuition that, if we are to respond meaningfully to today's challenges, we must address the deeper roots of the realities we observe. The ecological crisis is also a crisis concerning humanity's place in its relationship with the Earth, with itself, with others, and with what transcends it.

Integral ecology needs more people who are willing to engage in a process that generates responses commensurate with the complexity of contemporary challenges - responses grounded in hope and sustained by a compassionate and life-affirming vision of the world."
