Doctoral Degree in Psychology specialising in Family Psychology from the University of Lisbon (2013) having graduated in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences at the same University (2006). She was a Foundation for Science and Technology PhD grant holder and engaged in a period of research at the University of Cardiff (Wales, United Kingdom), resulting in her obtaining the title of European Doctorate from the University of Lisbon. She has collaborated wirh the FCH – Faculty of Human Sciences, UCP – the Catholic University of Portugal since 2013, lecturing the Psychology of Development unit on the Undergraduate Psychology Degree. Since 2013, she has been a Assistant Guest Professor at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Lisbon, where she lectures and supervises Master's Degree academic internships and theses integrated into the field of Systemic Clinical Psychology. She is a member of the Inter-university Doctoral Degree Program in Clinical Psychology – Specialising in Family Psychology and Family Intervention – at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Lisbon and the Faculty of Psychology and of Education Sciences at the Catholic University of Portugal. She is a member of CIPUL - the Research Centre of Psychology, University of Lisbon. Her research interests focus upon family relations and parenting with a specific interest in the associations between aspects of conjugal functioning, co-parenting, parenting education styles and the socio-emotional adjustment of children and adolescents and publishing on these fields in a number of international journals. She also performs a clinical psychology role in the Community Services of the the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Lisbon and the Centre of Infant Difference Development.
