Invited Lecturer at Católica | Lisbon School of Law since 2020, where she earned her Undergraduate Degree (2019). She has a postgraduate degree from Católica | Lisbon School of Law on Child Rights and Child Law (2019) and has a Master's Degree from the same university (2022).

Her research areas are focused on Family Law and Children's Rights and her master thesis focused on the Right to Know one’s origins and the legitimacy of the imposed restrictions.

Additionally, Madalena Pinto de Abreu is an invited teacher at Instituto para o Desenvolvimento Pessoal – IDS and is currently a trainee lawyer for the law firm Carlos Pinto de Abreu e Associados.
