Master's Degree in Psychological Assessment from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences (FPES) of the University of Coimbra, Degree in Psychology from the FPES of the University of Lisbon and a diploma in Advanced Studies in Public Management from the National Institute of Administration, I.P. - INA.
Currently is a Psychology advisor to the Judicial Judges at the Judicial Court of Lisbon North District. Since 2019 is coordinator of the Post-graduation Programme on Child Protection System and since 2021 is a researcher at the CRC-W, Católica Research Centre for Psychological, Family and Social Wellbeing.
Between 2017 and 2022, was a policy officer at the Public Institute for Social Security, integrating the office of the National Council for Adoption and the team of the Portuguese Central Authority for Intercountry Adoption. Between 2009 and 2016, coordinated social intervention and education projects in a local authority in the city of Lisbon, aimed at children, young people and families at risk.
She was a monitor in de the academic university career at the FPES of the University of Lisbon and a lecturer at the Piaget Institute.
She is the author of scientific articles and book chapters on children's rights, child protection system and the evaluation of prevention programmes.
