As part of the Learn in Action approach of the Master in Psychology and Environmental Sustainability, students took part in an immersive experience at Vale da Lama Farm, in the Algarve, a leading project in regenerative agriculture and sustainable ecosystem management.
The initiative provided students with direct exposure to professionals and projects developing innovative solutions to today's environmental challenges, allowing them to observe and engage with applied regenerative practices. Through this experience, students were able to deepen their understanding of key topics explored throughout the program and reflect on the role of sustainability in building more resilient systems.
Learn in Action activities are a distinctive feature of the master's program, connecting students with real-world contexts and offering opportunities to learn from organizations, experts and communities driving environmental transformation.
Throughout the program, students regularly take part in learning experiences beyond the classroom, designed to complement academic knowledge with practical insights into the challenges and opportunities of sustainability.
