On the 23rd of February, the Seminar: Wittgenstein’s Vienna was held around the exhibition Haus Wittgenstein, at the Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology (MAAT), in partnership with the Universidade Católica Portuguesa School of Arts, the Research Centre for Communication and Culture (CECC) and the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
Several thinkers, critics and architects were invited to share their views on Wittgenstein’s Vienna. The Vienna in “L’ Apocalypse joyeuse”, as author Jean Clair called it, and the way modernity sees it as an important formulation. Among other speakers like Ana Tostões, António Guerreiro, João Luís Carrilho da Graça, José Manuel dos Santos, Nuno Crespo, Nuno Venturinha e Ricardo Carvalho, was Isabel Capeloa Gil, Rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and CECC Researcher.
