Conversas Cruzadas is an event which will take place on 2 June, under the subheading Santidade, Filosofia & Artes [Sanctity, Philosophy and the Arts], and is part of the LCR Project – Literature, Cinema and Religion, which aims to probe the fields of literature, cinema, arts and culture through a religious lens. This Project, based at CECC, brings together researchers from several countries, namely Brazil, Italy, Spain, France and Portugal, and is coordinated by Professors Maria do Rosário Lupi Bello (CECC and UAb) and Luiz Felipe Pondé (Academic Director of Labô – PUC-SP). It develops its activities in the field of research through its own Research Group, and aims to promote reflection through discussion forums, international seminars and workshops, as well as through regular publications (with a forthcoming issue on the theme of “Redemption”), regarding how the religious and existential dimension is shaped in contemporary arts and thought.
