In conjunction with the ‘Our Food-Webbed World: Interdisciplinary Culinary Landscapes’ conference, the CineMar film club will be screening a documentary and a film that delve into food as a cultural expression.

“A Love Supreme”, by Nilesh Patel
A tribute to the director's mother, who has rheumatoid arthritis. This 9-min documentary explores memory and tradition through the preparation of samosas.

“Coffee and Cigarettes”, by Jim Jarmusch
This 11-vignette film captures the intimate moments of human connection found in the simple act of sharing coffee and cigarettes.

The screenings will take place on 6 March at 7pm in Auditorium 3.
