This curricular unit aims to familiarize students with the concepts of networks and information systems in the current contemporary panorama, as well as to analyze their impact on daily life. At the end of the semester, students should be able to understand the relationship between human beings, technology and all aspects of social life, through the ability to think, use and interact with digital media in a responsible, innovative and creative way.

Finally, students should acquire the capacity to analyze and criticize, in a constructive way, the surrounding reality.
