Psychiatrist in Centro Hospitalar de Lisboa Ocidental, where he develops a sleep consultation in a Liaison Psychiatry Unit and collaborates in a community mental health team. He dedicates to the integration of Sleep Medicine in the view of health in general, having a postgraduate specialization in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapies and sleep psychology.

He is also a collaborator at CENC with Prof. Dr. Teresa Paiva and with the Sleep Psychology team of Dr. Teresa Rebelo Pinto. He has carried out various trainings, including in the field of psychotherapy, sleep medicine, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy for insomnia, psychopharmacology and neuropsychiatry. He worked as an affiliated assistant in the Curricular Unit of Psychiatry of the Integrated Master in Medicine at Nova Medical School. He has also been the author of several publications in national and international journals and scientific meetings.
