Catarina Lameira Grosso holds a Ph.D. in Communication Studies (summa cum laude) from Universidade Católica Portuguesa – Faculty of Human Sciences, where she has taught since 2023 and is currently an Assistant Professor Adjunct, teaching International Management and Communication and Leadership. She has also taught at Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE) since 2017, where she is currently an Assistant Professor Adjunct and teaches Communication, Leadership and Ethics across Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes.
She holds a B.Sc. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Management from Nova School of Business and Economics, as well as an LL.M. in Law and Economics from Queen Mary University of London. As an Integrated Member of the Research Centre for Communication and Culture (CECC), her research focuses primarily on leadership and organizational communication, political communication, and media history. She has presented research at international conferences, including SOPCOM and AEDE conferences, notably on Portuguese press coverage of the Colonial War and on transparency, professional ethics, and business ethics.
Her profile combines academic work and professional experience, including leadership roles in the public sector and experience in business development.
She is a member of the Portuguese Association of Communication Sciences (SOPCOM), the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA), and the Spanish Association of Law and Economics (AEDE), and has served on the organising committees of the annual AEDE and European Association of Law and Economics (EALE) conferences.
