Ana Rita Goes
Ana Rita Goes holds graduate and doctoral degrees in Psychology (in Clinical Psychology and in Health Psychology) from the University of Lisbon. She also obtained a Master's Degree in Public Health from the National School of Public Health, Nova University of Lisbon. She is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Human Sciences, UCP, where she lectures on the undergraduate program in Psychology, and on the Master's Degree in the Psychology of Wellbeing and Health Promotion. She also lectures in the Faculty of Dental Medicine, the University of Lisbon and the National School of Public Health, Nova University in the areas of health psychology, health promotion, disease prevention and the psychosocial determinants of health. Her current research interests focus on the areas of early detection of developmental and behavioral problems, childhood sleep problems, childhood anxiety disorders, childhood obesity prevention, and parental determinants of the development of self-regulation. She is a member of the Pediatric Psychology clinical team run by the Faculty of Psychology, Community Service, the University of Lisbon.
