Creating innovative solutions to transform society
Current social challenges require professionals who can think critically, work collaboratively, and develop innovative responses with a real impact on individuals and communities.
The Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship pathway combines advanced training in Social Work with expertise in social innovation, sustainability, management, and impact assessment. It prepares professionals to lead change inside social sector organizations, public administration, businesses, and social entrepreneurship initiatives.
Throughout the degree, students develop skills to:
- Design and implement social innovation projects.
- Identify needs and opportunities for intervention in complex environments.
- Mobilize teams and collaborative networks.
- Assess the social impact of programs and organizations.
- Develop sustainable solutions to address contemporary social challenges.
This educational path stands out for its sequential Social Innovation Labs. These labs guide students from identifying problems and co-creating solutions through to implementing, monitoring, assessing, and disseminating projects. This methodology promotes experiential learning based on real-world projects and direct contact with partner organizations, connecting education, research, and professional practice.
Over the course of the two-year Master’s programme, students also benefit from continuous guidance while developing their dissertation, project, or internship, thus ensuring a solid combination of research and intervention.
