The FCH joins AETC – the Atlantic Erasmus Training Consortium
AETC – the Atlantic Erasmus Training Consortium provides young interns with the opportunity to gain a certified professional experience in Europe.
This partnership is made up by Universidade Católica Portuguesa, by Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril and by Universidade do Algarve.
Types of Internships
1. Curricular Internship (embedded in the curriculum, master's curricular internship).
2. Optional Internships:
a) Extracurricular Internship: the internship must be undertaken while still a student; minimum duration of the internship: 2 months.
b) Internship for Recent Graduates: the internship must end within 1 year after the completion of the program attended by the student; the expression of interest must be made while still a student.
Application for Erasmus+ Scholarships
Academic year of 2026/2027 1st semester
Conditions:
• The internship must take place in one of the EU countries (excluding the United Kingdom and Switzerland).
• The internship cannot be carried out in any of the European institutions (European Commission, European Parliament, etc.).
• If the internship is paid, the monthly remuneration must not exceed 200% of the monthly Erasmus+ scholarship amount.
Student Selection (in the following priority order):
1. Curricular Internship: maximum scholarship of 4 months.
2. Extracurricular Internships: students who have not yet benefited from an Erasmus grant, a maximum scholarship of 3 months.
3. Internships for Recent Graduates: the destination country must be different from the country of residence, with a maximum scholarship of 3 months.
Dates:
Students interested in applying for an Erasmus+ scholarship should submit the form by June 9th.
Results: June 12th
Note:
In order to benefit from the financial support available for undertaking a professional internship in another country under the auspices of the Erasmus+ Program, you need to be enrolled in the academic year in which the application is taking place or have been graduated from a study program within the last twelve months.
