Cognition and Creativity

6 ECTS / Semester / English
The study of cognitive processes has become a key issue in understanding human behaviour and cultural performance. How much of our cognition is universal and how much of it is culture based? And how can one be "creative" within a stable framework of cognitive conditions? What does creativity mean and how does it work "cognitively"? The seminar aims to develop these questions without stating precipitated answers.
