Master’s in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship recognized by the OECD as a Good Practice

The Master’s in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Human Sciences has been highlighted in the OECD report Starting, Scaling and Sustaining Social Innovation (2025) as an example of how academia can engage with social entrepreneurship.

The program is presented in the report as a specialization within the Master’s in Social Work, offering advanced and targeted training designed to equip students with the skills needed to address complex social challenges.

According to the report, this specialization stands out for:

  • Bridging theory and practice, through a strong laboratory component;
  • Strategic partnerships with public, private, and third-sector organizations engaged in social innovation;
  • Expanding career opportunities in areas such as service coordination, social intervention programs and projects, social organizations, and research in the fields of Social Work and Innovation.

This international recognition reinforces the program’s academic quality and social impact, highlighting FCH-Católica's commitment to preparing professionals who can drive transformation in the social sector through innovation and entrepreneurship.
