UCP Editora participated in the 96th edition of the Lisbon Book Fair for the 17th consecutive year, reinforcing its commitment to disseminating the knowledge developed at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Throughout the event, the publisher organized debates, book presentations, and book signings that brought authors, researchers, and readers together, highlighting the role of academia in building a more participatory and informed society.

Among the highlights of the program was the debate “Building Communities: Academia and Society”, inspired by the book Community, Communities: Engage to Transform. The session featured Mahsa Farrokhi (Member of T4EU Student), Peter Hanenberg (Vice-President for Research and Doctoral Education at UCP), and Margarida Mano (Former Vice-President for Continuous Improvement and Development at UCP), and was moderated by Francisco Mendes-Palma (T4EU@Católica Institutional Coordinator).

Another highlight was the panel discussion “The Jewish Community in Portugal: Memory and Identity”, centered on the book Jewish Renewal in Portugal – Identity, Memory, and Return. The discussion brought together the author, Joshua Noah Azriel; André Falcão (President of the Ohel Jacob Synagogue in Lisbon and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon); and Peter Hanenberg.

The program also included the panel discussion “Psychology of Sleep”, dedicated to the book Contributions to an Integrative Definition of the Psychology of Sleep, featuring Margarida Gaspar de Matos (Full Professor at FCH-UCP), Helena Rebelo Pinto (author and Full Professor at FCH-UCP), and Teresa Rebelo Pinto (author and Visiting Lecturer at FCH-UCP), and was moderated by Susana Costa Ramalho (Deputy Director of FCH-UCP).
