The International Seminar “Human Rights, Diversity and Social Justice: the challenges of Social Work for the future” will take place on July 9 and 10, starting at 10 am in the Exhibition Room. This event is promoted by the Inter University Doctoral Degree Program in Social Work (PIUDSS), a partnership between the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and the University of Coimbra.

The aim of this seminar is to create a space for debate around the emerging challenges facing the field of Social Work in the future, such as demographic changes, technological advances and humanitarian and environmental crises.

This event aims to involve academics and social intervention specialists, Social Work students (UCP and UC), as well as teachers, educators and education agents, managers and entrepreneurs, leaders and directors of public organizations and social and solidarity economy organizations, artistic and cultural entertainment professionals and other people interested in the subject.
