- Understand the Helping Relationship in Social Work;
- Explore different techniques for working with individuals and families;
- Provide contact with cases or practical exercises that allow for deeper internalization of content;
- Train techniques and procedures for intervention with individuals and families.

- Understand what Social Work with individuals and families entails through different theoretical perspectives;
