Philosophy of Language

6 ECTS / Semester / Portuguese
The aim of this course is to help the students to understand what language is as an eventual universal reality and as a human reality; language as anthropo-ontopoiesis; human being as a language being; language and logic; language and ontology; language and the absolute of meaning; language is the logical constructor of the world.
The students must, at the end of the semester, be able to elaborate a personal thesis on what they consider language to be.
