Objectives:

- To present the evolution of the media in the political, social, economic and cultural context between the 15th and 21st.
- To analyse the historical development and transformations of the media through their technical dimensions and performance regarding the socio-political and cultural sphere.
- To problematize the constitution of public opinion and media practices in the public space in the 19th and 20th and its reconfiguration with the Internet and New Media.
- To discuss the convergence – technological, economic, content – of the media and its implications at the level of participatory culture.
