The objectives of this unit are to empower the students to: - outline the main concepts to educational evaluation, - understand the need for articulation between the different levels of educational evaluation, - discuss models, concepts and theories and the principles of assessment for schools and teachers - describe, analyse and assess contextualized assessment methods and prepare improvement plans, - reflect on the ultimate meaning of the evaluation of schools and teachers.
