The course unit aims to introduce students to professional practice in Social Work:
- To become familiar with different contexts and practices in Social Work;
- To foster creativity and innovation in professional practice;
- To introduce students to participatory methodologies in Social Work;
- To provide knowledge of diverse contexts and practices in Social Work;
- To develop skills of observation and analysis in real settings;
- To promote experiential learning and the ability to conduct an initial diagnosis.

- Analyze different contexts and practices in Social Work;
- Conduct an initial social diagnosis: ability to identify needs, resources, and problems in diverse contexts of Social Work intervention;
- Innovation and creativity: application of innovative methodologies in social intervention;
- Integration of theory and practice: articulation between academic foundations and field experiences.
