PhD in Biomedical Sciences and a Master´s in Neuroscience from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon and a degree in Psychology from the same University. Participated in several funded projects (BIAL, FCT, Gulbenkian), namely in the area of aging and language. She is a member of the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Health (CIIS), where she develops her work in the field of aging, dementia and memory. Associate Professor of the Institute of Health Sciences where she coordinates the Neuropsychology Master. Member of the Scientific Council of ICS
