Nuno Estêvão Ferreira is researcher at the Center of Religious History Studies of the Catholic University of Portugal (CEHR-UCP, since 2010). He holds a PhD in Social Sciences (Political Sociology) from the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ICS-UL, 2009). His dissertation focused the role of the Corporatist Chamber on the Portuguese New State (1933-74). Currently holds a post-doctoral scholarship by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) at the CEHR-UCP. Guest professor at the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Catholic University of Portugal (FCH-UCP). His current research project aims to study the relationship between Catholicism and corporatism in authoritarian regimes of the Iberian Peninsula at the post-World War II.
