PhD in Culture Studies from the Catholic University of Portugal. She was awarded a stipend to conduct post-doc research on war and visuality in contemporary art with a grant of the Portuguese Science Foundation (FCT) between 2017 and 2020. She is a researcher of the Research Centre for Communication and Culture (CECC) and a member of the leading team of the European project 4Cs: from Conflict to Conviviality through Creativity and Culture. She works as an independent curator in Portugal and abroad and she founded the independent curatorial project quéréla, in Lisbon. Her main areas of interest are Artistic Studies, Curatorial Studies, Representations Theories and Gender Studies. She writes about contemporary art and artist and about feminist intersectional practices for several outlets.
