This course will discuss the relevance of the Portuguese Language as a factor of cohesion within the framework of the linguistic and cultural diversity of the Portuguese world. Special attention will be given to the reflection on Portuguese as a language of diasporas and to the project of Lusophony, its ambiguities and contradictions.
