Global Scholar Exchange Program with Kent State University

"Global Scholar" is an exchange program that provides a unique opportunity to study for a semester in the United States of America (USA), deepening knowledge about issues relating to the Communications Sciences within an American context. Under the auspices of this program, students attend the second semester in the Master’s Degree program at the prestigious Kent State University, in Ohio, where they enter into contact with US television and cinematographic production companies.

Exchange with the University of Denver

Since 2013, in the first semester of each year, the Faculty of Human Sciences has welcomed students from this leading America university. The program has proven a success and duly reflected in the high level of demand among American students choosing the FCH to study in Europe.

Study in Portugal Network (SiPN)

The Universidade Católica Portuguesa is one of the four Portuguese higher education institutions partnering the Study in Portugal Network (SiPN). This program is run by FLAD – the Luso-American Development Foundation and emerges within the framework of the internationalisation of Portuguese universities and companies as a crucial facet to affirming and consolidating their profiles both in Portugal and internationally.

With the Human and Social Sciences one of the preferential education domains for American students participating in the program, the FCH has responded to the needs of SiPN through a vast range of transversal subjects and thereby contributing to the international, multicultural and multilingual environment that is so characteristic of our faculty.
